Position Summary:
The General Clerk II will support administrative operations, focusing on record keeping, report preparation, electronic file management, and document control. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, and the ability to follow procedures for maintaining records and ensuring compliance.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Work as a team member in requesting and processing all data requests in accordance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and dashboards to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation, conduct research and gather requested documentation.
- Maintain electronic file management logs and other required documentation.
- Implement corrective measures as needed when issues or deviations from established performance standards are identified.
- Perform administrative duties that could include scheduling virtual meetings, preparing digital reports, managing shared inboxes and responding to internal inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members through virtual communication tools to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Successfully pass federal background check including but not limited to credit, education and criminal.
- US citizenship is a requirement; individuals with dual citizenship or no citizenship will not pass the federal investigation.
- Previous experience in data entry, Microsoft Excel and general administration.
- Ability to read and write in the English Language.
- Customer-focused with a service-oriented attitude.
- Detail-oriented, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
